  What does “Embedded” mean?  
  A: Embedded indicates that Intel anticipates shipping the product for an extended period of time. Embedded parts typically need to be procurable for 7+ years, whereas standard parts are typically procurable for 2+ years  
     
  What is the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance?  
  A: The Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance (Intel® ECA) is one of the worlds most recognized embedded and communications ecosystems providing customers with a trusted supply line of Intel®-based products and services.  
     
  Who are the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance member companies?  
  A: A select group of companies that provide a trusted supply line of Intel® Architecture based products at multiple levels of integration. For a list of members visit our online Member Roster.  
     
  What solutions does this site list?  
  A: Third-party solutions entered by Member companies of the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance.  
     
  How often are these solutions updated?  
  A: Frequently. These solutions are maintained by the Members who update information with the newly released technologies and services from both Intel and the Member.  
     
  How do I narrow my results?  
  A: Once you have checked the appropriate boxes for your search criteria and hit ‘Search’, the search results page will display a Refine Search toolbar on the left side of the page where you can further refine by company, Intel® Products, Product Characteristics or Product Supports categories.  
     
  What if I get zero results?  
  A: There are no solutions meeting the criteria you inserted for your search. Try reducing the number of selected criteria since you can easily refine your search criteria further after the initial search results.  
     
  What if I want to display all solutions in the Solutions Directory?  
  A: Do not enter any Product Keywords or check any of the boxes in the search criteria and hit ‘Search’ and then all the solutions will be displayed on the search results page.  
     
  Can I search by Product Keywords and other categories at the same time?  
  A: Yes. Simply type in the Product Keywords in the text box as well as check the appropriate boxes in the selected categories of your choice and hit the ‘Search’ button.
